Taylor Desautels, PhD
Taylor completed her PhD in Molecular Cancer Biology at Duke University where she studied the mechanisms of hormone therapy resistance in prostate and breast cancer. Her work utilized factor agnostic genomic approaches to determine the drivers of tumor progression after endocrine therapies, as well as identified collateral vulnerabilities which can be therapeutically targeted. She also studied the role of endocrine therapies on immune cells, with the aim of identifying selective estrogen receptor modulators or downregulators that could enhance anti-tumor immunity. Outside of work she enjoys kicking a soccer ball around, skiing, and is always on the hunt for the best sushi roll in town.
